The next day we headed north our goal was to get to the ferry to Denmark. It was about 250 miles. We just wanted to get there get a ticket and then find a place to camp.
Well we got there and got shuffled into a huge mess of cars all in line to get a ticket.
We both got our tickets but because I was on motorcycle we had to go to separate lines to get on the boat.
There were boats leaveing about every 30 minutes or so.
I got on the boat and walked around but couldnt find my dad.....
I got off the boat first and pulled over and watched the cars go by but didnt see him. So I drove about 1/4 of a mile to the gas station not there either. I waited for the next boat to arrive. nope not there
Again we were having issues with our phones. I dont know why it cant be simple in Germany to buy a sim card and it work for 2 months..... SO I had no way to contact him AGAIN....
Our GPS's werent programmed because everything happened so fast and we had planned on camping in Germany that night.
I drove on to Copenhagen hoping to see him but no. So I got a hotel and called it a day.
The next morning I had an email from my dad saying where he was.
He wasnt far so I drove there and met him.
We drove to Copenhagen to the hotel I had reserved a few days before.
This is our first day but Copenhagen seem really fun, expensive though
We mostly walked around today just killing time
This fountain was neat. The bulls had water spraying out of their nose. The lady was on a plow. I dont know what kind of ground she was plowing but to take 4 bulls to pull her.... might need to loose some weight
Of course the Little Mermaid
A museum
We went into Copenhagen and walked around a bit
Christiania its some kind of Hippie commune thing. They started it in the 60's and came to an agreement with the government to leave them alone.
After that we went through the Parliment building.
the flower border you see going around was painted by a guy who was a bit of a trouble maker. He didnt like the government guys so he would paint things in the border like in one place there was a dog pissing....
After that a boat ride was in the works to sit down and relax
The second largest Yacht in the world, in for maintenance. It is owned by the same guy who owns the Chelsea football team. 2 heliports and a pool are some of the ammenities.
It was a tight fit under this bridge
Finally the amusement park
