The next day I wanted to end up in Comrat, Moldova. It is a pet peeve of mine to use the same road twice. I hate driving to somewhere and coming back the same way! So there were 2 roads leading to Vylkove. I knew the one I came in on was crap so I took the other one. It might of been worse :)
Some of these holes would come up to my knees if I stood in them!
This one was almost a meter deep!
Then there would be a stretch of decent road out of no where....
By the end of the road this is what the bike looked like
The road was horrible but I made it through relatively unscathed! I made it to the border crossing into Moldova. It took about an hour to get through mostly because the guards wanted to talk about the bike :) We had a grand old time finally they stamped me on through and I was in Moldova!
The road to Comrat was brand new with nice scenery
The main reason I came to Comrat is to see an old friend. We worked together in Moscow. She was origanally from Moldova and was coming back to visit.

I hung out with her and her Mom for a couple days at their house. We picked strawberries
Then had some of her friends over for a BBQ, Moldovan style!
About the time the food was done and eaten it started pouring rain. We moved inside and kept going with the home made Moldovan wine and cheese!
Not my kid. :)
We eventually ran out of wine. SO the guy, I forget his name, and I went to his garage down the street. Then into the basement of the garage where it was loaded with wine and preserves!
We came back and were cheered as heroes!
The next afternoon it was time to move on. I was passing through Chiseneau and one girl needed to go back there so I gave her a lift.
We stopped a few times due to rain but eventually made it
